Mystic Gates
Mystic Gates are a new concept introduced in Chapter 6 going forward. When you have the Mystic Gate unlocked for the stage, you may turn it on by clicking the Gate symbol on the UI (default: L).
This locks in several modifiers and changes until you reset the stage:
- All enemies HP is multiplied by 3.
- All enemies ATK & DEF are multiplied by 1.4.
- All enemies base EXP is multiplied by 1.25.
- Legacies and Magic can now be used, and you will gain MP according to your starting level.
- Any score registered from this run will count as Pure, no matter whether you use medals or not.
Any stage you have unlocked the Mystic Gate for will have a mark on the stage select screen:
All Chapter 6+ towers are considered to have Mystic Gate on by default (exception: Glacier).
